In 2011, the Winnipeg office of the Canadian Mental Health Association was embarking on a capital campaign and was looking for a compelling marketing campaign to support their financial goals. We developed the “Elephant in the Room” campaign. The campaign included superimposing an elephant into everyday social contexts in order to emphasize the need to keep the topic of mental health out in the open, and to remove the stigma and isolation associated with this serious health issue.

Working with Catherine Pate our organizations have been able to create comprehensive communication plans to help us move forward in navigating the complexities of internal and external communication in the modern world.
Catherine at Stage Left Communications was amazing at helping me set up a brand and website for my company. She took the time to sit down with me and find what my company was all about along with my values. She was very easy to talk to and interactive in finding out what kind of look I was going for keeping within my budget. Her input was very valuable in the whole process. I look forward to working with Catherine and State Left in the future.

Where would we be without you, Catherine?! You make us sound and look great, and you do it with a turn around time that seems almost superhuman. Plus it's just fun to work with somebody so creative and collaborative. Give my name to anyone looking for a recommendation - you couldn't get a higher one from me.
I hired Stage Left Communications for a project called In Quest of Music. The branding results were phenomenal and the company was very professional. The owner, Catherine Pate, is one of the more competent, intelligent, organized and creative people I know.
I enjoyed working with Catherine. She was very resourceful and got the job done without a lot of direction, which was very helpful to me as I worked in an extremely fast paced environment. I was always happy with the final product.
Catherine has been great to work with and has been able to anticipate the needs of DIY Chix and keep my company branding on track. Catherine is great at thinking outside the box.
I have to give a huge thanks to Stage Left Communications for taking my company from looking like a 'start up' to looking like a force to be reckoned with. We saved more money and got a better product than I could have dreamed up. The level of service was more than we could have asked for or imagined.
Catherine is an exceptional individual. Her eye for detail, quality of presentation, ability to coordinate many projects at once and problem solve always allowed me to feel safe with the knowledge that things were being accomplished. I will continue to work with Catherine in future and strongly recommend her for any position.
