MBS Fitness
MBS Fitness is a relative newcomer to the Winnipeg fitness scene. After a year in business it was time to take their brand management and marketing efforts to the next level. That’s when the owner approached us.
It’s a lot of fun to start with a clean slate and Avery gave us the go-ahead to develop a strategy and branding approach that would best introduce MBS Fitness to the Winnipeg market. With everything from a new logo and business cards to a website and online marketing campaign, MBS is armed and ready to meet the Winnipeg Thai Kickboxing community head on.
Balance Ink
Balance Ink was well on its way to identifying the elements of its brand identity, but they still needed a simple, straightforward website that would make their signage solutions the stars of the show. Owner, Alex Vanderhooft had a vision for the site, but just need help ‘cracking the code’ and creating copy that would tell the story. We were happy help make it all happen with an online solution that met their specifications and budget.
Trio Bembe
In 2009, Trio Bembe released their first self titled album. With the independent release of their 2011 album, “Oh My Soul” the band decided they needed some help. Their website needed upgrading and they knew they needed an online marketing campaign to promote their infectious Latin inspired music. They just needed one thing: help.
We’re happy to be helping the band navigate the digital world to get their music out across the clouds. Armed with a great new website, a strong SEO strategy and a comprehensive distribution plan, we’re helping Trio Bembe maximize their online presence, sell records and share their music with the world.

South Eastman Regional Health Authority
South Eastman Regional Health Authority recently underwent a re-branding exercise. Once the new pallet, logo, fonts, tagline and value statement were all set, the work of applying the branding to all of their literature was before them. Stage Left Communications was asked to write content, arrange a photo shoot and oversee the production of a series of bilingual pamphlets and to help organize an event launching one of their new initiatives.
Hart Roofing
Hart Roofing is a new company on the Winnipeg scene and it’s hard to stand out in a crowd, but we’re helping them do just that by creating a brand identity consistent with their core commitments to service excellence and professionalism.

Canadian Mental Health Association-Winnipeg
The Canadian Mental Health Association-Winnipeg Region recently purchased a new building they will soon be calling home. They’re pretty excited about all of the opportunities their new location will provide. They wanted to celebrate with the Winnipeg community. We helped them do that by creating a publicity campaign highlighting the important role the Canadian Mental Health Association plays in reducing the stigma association with mental illness and raising the awareness of mental health as an issue that affects all Canadians. The Elephant in the Room campaign includes posters, postcards, a social media contest, banners and newsletter inserts.

DIY Chix
We had a lot of fun coming up with a brand concept that reflects the playful nature DIY Chix is trying to convey with their new handy-woman business concept. They want to demystify home repairs and empower clients (particularly women) to walk into the hardware store and take on the small job they have been wishing would get done, but never does. We’re helping DIY Chix with everything from logos to uniforms, and we’re having a great time doing it.

Alana Levandoski
Alana Levandoski recently decided to manage her own career. But she realized that, as a critically acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter, her brand must be handled carefully and professionally. In today’s environment, she requires innovative solutions to stay in front of her audience when she’s not on the road. We’re helping make that happen by working with her to implement marketing and promotion solutions to fit her unique needs. Visit Alana online at alanalevandoski.com.

ARE Books
The Future Starts Now was written in the spring of 2009 and in eight weeks we managed to take it from first draft to final publication (along with seven small booklets.) It was a wildly productive summer for ARE Books.
